Experience
After law school I spent two years clerking for a federal judge in New Orleans, where I learned that knowing the law is only a small part of helping your client. The 18 years I spent working for a mid-sized New Orleans firm, reinforced this important lesson. In 2006, I started a solo practice so that I could represent clients more effectively, especially from a cost-savings point-of-view.
In addition to the many cases I’ve handled in the New Orleans federal court, I’ve had many cases in the Middle District and the Western District. I also have handled cases in the state courts throughout Louisiana, particularly Orleans Parish Civil District Court and the 24th Judicial District Court in Jefferson Parish. I’m admitted to all Louisiana courts, state and federal, including the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
