Speaking in Anchorage Alaska

I’ll be speaking to attorneys in the Civil Division of the Department of Law, in Anchorage, Alaska tomorrow. My talk is about using PDFs in the practice of law. Folks in the Civil Division rely heavily on Adobe Acrobat, and want to learn more about how to make the most of the software to manage PDFs better.

Speaking next Monday in Ohio

Next Monday I’ll be in Columbus Ohio, doing a 3 hour CLE presentation on various topics that fall under the rubric of “Digital Lawyering.” The overall theme is how to use technology to improve your law practice, and will involve an hour on each of the following topics:

  • Introduction to Becoming Paperless
  • Little Big Firm: how to better with less
  • Cloud Computing: practical & ethical issues

The seminar will be live in Columbus, but will be simulcast to Cleveland, Fairfield, and Perrysburg. For more details click here.
